Another Snatch Thief Case on road 27

This afternoon around 2:30pm I was in my master bedroom and suddently heard a scream of a lady from outside of the road. My instinct told me it must another snatch thief. Immediately I looked out of the window and not to my surprise I saw a Malay guy carrying a handbag running to his accomplice on a bike and speed away. I tried to note down the plate number unfortunately it was too far. How I wish the boom gate is up already so that all these snatch thieve will be blocked at the entrance.

Hi there. I am a resident of DJ and would like to express a few suggestions. Living here since I was born 30 odd years back, I have witnessed quite a bit on these crimes (touch wood I have not experienced it first hand), and believe me, it's not pleasant.

It is quite sad that some of the owners here are not receptive to the idea until something has really happened to their families.

I would like to suggest that for those who does not subscribe to the idea or for whatever reason do not want to pay for security, these residents should NOT be given any form of identification to enter the area. Hence, security at the future boom gates should be at the utmost strictest and whoever that does not have the identification have to register before entering, may it be a VIP or VVIP or anyone else who does not possess identification for that matter.

Sorry, but I believe, to be fair to all the residents, NO PAY, NO CONVENIENCE! REGISTER everytime you come in and out or even as simple as going out to buy breakfast and coming back within 5 minutes.

Just my 2 cents, but I hope EVERYONE will do their part in making this neighbourhood a safe place to live in. I have seen quite enough of all these crimes.

Two thumbs up to the organiser, committee and residents who are striving to make our part of Damansara Jaya a better place to live in!
